Volt goes Pro-Ukraine March - Brussels 25.02.2024

Two years of a full-scale invasion in Ukraine, two years of full-scale war in Europe. Such an anniversary was unthinkable in the 21st century. Yet, as time passes, the conflict starts slipping from the focus of politics, media, and society.

However, Volt continues standing firm in solidarity with our Ukrainian siblings both in the European Parliament as well as in the streets. That’s why Volt will be participating as a co-host at the march in solidarity with the Ukrainian people in Brussels on Sunday, 25 February.

We, Volters and sympathisers, will be meeting at 10:40 in front of Thon Hotel (Av. du Boulevard 17, 1210 Saint-Josse-ten-Noode), before joining the other groups at Rogier at 11:00. Our Co-President Carlo Giudice has been asked to give a speech.

At 12:00 the march will go to the destination point at Place De l’Albertine. Between 13:00-13:30 we will have a short closing of the march with an anthem, minute of silence, speeches from the Ambassadors of friendly missions and our closing remark.
